Philosophy

Kym’s philosophy is that of ‘the gentle warrior’: living with intention from the heart, something available to everyone regardless of religion, tribe, or tradition.

The path of the gentle warrior combines tenacity with kindness:

  • Choosing the life you want
  • Having the courage to take action, using inner and outer resources to be successful
  • Discovering focus, resilience, patience

And

  • Accepting life as it is and appreciating its beauty
  • Being as genuine and self-aware as possible
  • Respecting both oneself and others, and acting kindly

This is a balancing act that takes time to master: in fact, it is something to practice every day. Kym sees personal maturity and a loving heart as something worth striving for. However, it’s a process of becoming whole rather than wanting to be different. Much power lies in the choices one faces every day.
